The Concept
The Summer of Surprises turned Autumn of Adventures campaign featured a festive sampler of pop-up performances across the PTV network, spruiking Melbourneโs choc-a-bloc entertainment lineups which encouraged commuters back onto the network. Elton John, a giant lizard, a pop-up choir, a golden ballerina, the cast of Mary Poppins and many more pop-up performers all brought a whole lot of energy and singalongs to the network.
Background
Public Transport Victoria challenged us to help them get more people to more places via the PTV network. Challenge accepted. This campaign generated some of the most positive coverage PTV has had in years which translated into the Summer of Surprises campaign extending to a second season, Autumn of Adventures, and finally an ongoing campaign filled with more PTV surprises.
