Summer of Surprises

The Concept

The Summer of Surprises campaign featured a festive sampler of pop-up performances across the PTV network, spruiking Melbourneโ€™s choc-a-bloc summer entertainment lineup which encouraging commutters back onto the network. Elton John, a giant lizard, tennis ladies, and trumpeting tennis balls, the cast of Mary Poppins and the fabulous drag queen Frock Hudson all brought a whole lot of energy and singalongs to the network.

Background

Public Transport Victoria challenged us to help them get more people to more places this summer via the Public Transport Victoria network. Challenge accepted. This campaign generated some of the most positive coverage PTV has had in years.
